You choose the fabric, the lapel, the lining, the buttons and the fit; our tailors — fitting men on Staten Island since 1988 — handle everything else in house. Custom suits, tuxedos, dress shirts and full wedding parties, ready in about three to four weeks at either store.

Common questions
How long does a custom suit take?
About three to four weeks from your first appointment. If you are working to a tight date, tell us when you come in and we will let you know what is possible.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Walk in whenever we are open. An appointment just means someone is set aside for you when you arrive, which is worth doing if you are bringing a group.
What does a custom suit cost?
It depends entirely on the cloth you choose. Come in, tell us your budget, and we will show you what is available at that number.
Can you match a suit for groomsmen who live out of state?
Yes. They can be measured where they are and we coordinate the fabric and details from here.
Do you also rent tuxedos?
Yes. Rentals are handled in store as an authorized Jim's Formal Wear retailer — see the tuxedo rental page.
