Men's Suit Size Guide - Find Your Perfect Fit

How to Measure Yourself for a Men's Suit

Finding the perfect suit fit starts with accurate measurements. Follow our easy guide below to get the best fit from New York Man Suits.

Step 1: Chest Measurement

Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms. Keep it level and snug but not tight. This is your chest size.

Step 2: Waist Measurement

Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, usually about 1 inch above your belly button.

Step 3: Shoulder Width

Measure from the end of one shoulder to the end of the other across your back. This is one of the most important suit measurements for a proper fit.

Step 4: Sleeve Length

Starting at the center back of your neck, measure along your shoulder and down your arm to your wrist. Keep your arm slightly bent.

Step 5: Inseam

Measure from your crotch down to your ankle for the trouser inseam length.
